Terms of business
Quotes and payment
Every project is quoted at a fixed price in writing and that quote is valid for 30 days. A 50% deposit is payable before work starts, with the balance due on launch. Invoices are payable within 14 days.
What’s included
The quote covers the pages and features listed in it, plus two rounds of revisions at the design stage. Additional work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins — you will never receive an invoice you haven’t agreed to.
What we need from you
Text, images and logos, and reasonably prompt feedback. You confirm you have the right to use any material you supply. Timelines assume feedback within five working days at each stage.
Ownership
On final payment, the website design and content become yours. Your domain name is registered in your name from the outset. We retain the right to display the finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Hosting and care plans
Care plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. If you cancel, we will help you move the site to a host of your choosing at no extra charge.
Liability
We take care to build reliable, secure websites, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific search rankings. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the project. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
