Web design in Basingstoke

I live and work in Basingstoke, so this is the one town on this site where I am not describing somewhere I drive to. If you want to sit down with a coffee and go through what your website needs to do, that is a short trip for both of us.

Most of the businesses I build for here are the ones people search for by name after a recommendation. Somebody has been told about you, they look you up, and whatever they find in those few seconds decides whether they ring. That is the moment a website is really for.

Where I am based.

  • Designed, not assembled

Built around your business rather than a layout I have used before.

  • A fixed price in writing

Agreed before any work starts. No hourly rates, no surprise invoices.

  • Yours at the end

The domain is in your name and the site belongs to you.

What a Basingstoke website is up against

Basingstoke is big enough that most trades here have real competition, and competition that has been established long enough to sit at the top of Google. A new business with no website is invisible next to them, and a business with a tired one looks like it has stopped trying.

The flip side is that a lot of those established sites have not been touched in years. They are slow, they were built for a desktop computer, and they say nothing specific about the business. That is the gap a properly built site walks straight through.

Where I work

Basingstoke and the places around it

  • Basingstoke
  • Chineham
  • Old Basing
  • Lychpit
  • Hatch Warren
  • Kempshott
  • Brighton Hill
  • Popley
  • Winklebury
  • Oakley
  • Overton
  • Bramley
  • Sherborne St John
  • Farleigh Wallop

If you are just outside that list, ask anyway. Nearly all of the work happens over calls, messages and a private preview link, so the distance rarely matters as much as people expect.

Who I build for in Basingstoke

Every one of these gets a different site. A barber and a builder want opposite things from a first screen.

  • Trades and builders
  • Barbers, salons and beauty studios
  • Garages and car care
  • Cleaners and maintenance
  • Shops and food businesses
  • Anyone starting out

Built here, live now

Bucks Cuts, the private barber studio at Farleigh Wallop, and The Lash Lounge by Shanie Smith in Basingstoke. Both are live, both were built from scratch around how those two actually work, and neither looks remotely like the other.

Questions from Basingstoke

Yes. I am in Basingstoke, so a face to face chat at the start is easy to arrange, and it is usually the fastest way to work out what the site needs to say. After that most people prefer messages and a private preview link.

No. Basingstoke is home and a lot of my work is here, but the whole process runs just as well over calls and messages, and I take on work across Hampshire, Berkshire and further.

The site is only half of that. The other half is your Google Business Profile, which is what decides who appears in the map results. I set the site up to support it and I will walk you through the profile itself.

Not in Basingstoke?

I work across Hampshire, Berkshire and the Surrey border. These are the nearest ones to you.
